Our team

Magnus joined Alteri in 2015 as Chief Investment Officer and has over 20 years of experience in retail and consumer investing. Before Alteri he spent 11 years at Apax Partners, where he was involved in investments in a range of international consumer brands. He began his career at Procter & Gamble and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Arnold joined Alteri in 2016 and leads the firm’s investment activities across the UK, Benelux, France, Italy and Spain. He has around 20 years of private equity and M&A experience. He was previously at Terra Firma for 6 years, focusing on leisure, retail and operational real estate, including Odeon, Wyevale and Annington. He began his career in M&A at Credit Suisse and holds a degree in Mathematics from TU Delft.

Arne has more than 15 years of private equity and M&A experience and leads Alteri’s investment activities across the DACH region. He was previously part of The Gores Group’s European investment team, working on operationally driven new investments, carve-outs and portfolio transformation projects. He began his career at Deutsche Bank in London, where he executed a number of M&A and capital markets transactions.

Prior to joining Alteri, Benedict was part of the financial restructuring group at Perella Weinberg in London where he worked on capital structure advisory and restructuring transactions. Previously, Benedict worked in restructuring advisory at PwC in Frankfurt. He holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Cologne.

Kazim spent his pre-Alteri career at Perella Weinberg in London, first in the Financials & Technology team and then in UK M&A, advising on a broad mix of M&A and strategic mandates. He holds a BA in Environment, Law and Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Hugo joined Alteri from Houlihan Lokey’s restructuring group in London, where he advised on capital structure and restructuring deals. Before that, he was an investment banking analyst at PJT Partners. He holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin.

Isabelle joined Alteri in 2023 as Team Assistant and is now Executive Assistant and Office Manager, supporting the team and overseeing the firm’s office operations. She was previously Marketing Executive at a leading UK school uniform and sportswear company, and holds a First-Class degree in Business Management and Marketing.
